How to play

Three cards. One best suit. Five nickels between you and the end of the game.

01

Build one strong suit

You get three cards. Only cards from the same suit add together, so choose the suit that gives you your best total.

02

Draw one, discard one

On your turn, take a card from the deck or the discard pile. Keep the card that helps and discard one you do not need.

03

Hit 31 or knock

A same-suit 31 wins the hand immediately. Think your hand is already strong enough? Knock and every other player gets one final turn.

04

Protect your nickels

The lowest hand loses a nickel. Keep playing until only one player still has nickels on the table.

The perfect hand

Three cards. One suit. 31 points.

Aces count as 11. Kings, queens, and jacks count as 10. Number cards keep their face value.

Meet the face of the game

Corky is part of the family.

Corky is Kat's father. He is alive and well, and his likeness is represented in the Nickel Knock icon and artwork.

The game pairs that family connection with a three-card challenge: build one suit, chase 31, and decide when your hand is strong enough to knock.
